Privacy Policy

Last updated June 3, 2026

Firahub ("Firahub," "we," "us") operates a review management and automation platform for SaaS businesses. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information when you use our website (firahub.com) and our services, including the embeddable review widget. Capitalized terms not defined here have the meanings given in our Terms of Service.

1. Information We Collect

Account Data: When you register, we collect your name, business email address, company details, and billing information.

Widget & Review Data: When you install the Firahub review widget on your product, we process data to facilitate review prompts — including customer identifiers you pass to the widget (e.g., user email, name). We do not store raw end-user passwords or payment card numbers.

Usage & Log Data: We automatically collect IP addresses, browser type, device identifiers, timestamps, page views, feature interactions, and error logs when you use the service.

Analytics & Cookies: We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to measure usage and improve the service. You can control non-essential cookies in your browser settings.

Payment Data: Payments are processed by Stripe. We only receive limited billing metadata (e.g., last four digits of a card, transaction IDs). We never store full card numbers.

Sensitive Data: Firahub does not intentionally collect sensitive categories of personal data (health, biometric, or financial account data). You are responsible for ensuring your end-users do not transmit such data through the widget.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide & maintain the platform, including the widget, analytics dashboard, and support;
  • Process transactions and send billing-related communications (invoices, receipts);
  • Improve the service by analyzing usage patterns and widget performance metrics;
  • Communicate with you about product updates, security alerts, and (with your consent) marketing;
  • Secure the service and detect fraud, abuse, or violations of our Terms;
  • Comply with legal and regulatory obligations.

3. Legal Bases (EEA / UK / GDPR)

Where GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we rely on the following legal bases:

  • Contract: Processing required to perform our obligations to you under the Terms of Service;
  • Legitimate interests: Security, fraud prevention, and product improvement;
  • Consent: Marketing emails and non-essential analytics cookies;
  • Legal obligation: Tax, accounting, and regulatory compliance.

4. Sharing & Disclosure

We never sell your personal data. We disclose information only:

  • To service providers (e.g., Stripe for payments, Render/Supabase for hosting and database) under written contracts requiring confidentiality and data protection;
  • To third-party review platforms (G2, Trustpilot, Capterra) only as directed by you through the widget — the data shared is governed by those platforms' own terms;
  • For legal reasons — where we are required by law, court order, or legitimate government request;
  • Business transfers — in the event of a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, subject to continued confidentiality obligations.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account data for the duration of your subscription and for up to 30 days after cancellation (or sooner upon written request). Backup copies are overwritten within 60 days. Billing and audit logs may be retained as required by law (up to 7 years).

6. Security

We maintain administrative, technical, and physical safeguards aligned with industry standards — including encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest, strict access controls, and regular security reviews. No method of data transmission over the internet is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. International Data Transfers

Firahub is based in Nigeria and our infrastructure may process data in the United States and other countries. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) to legitimize transfers from the EEA/UK.

8. Your Rights

Depending on where you reside, you may have rights to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you;
  • Correct inaccurate or incomplete data;
  • Delete your data (right to be forgotten);
  • Restrict or object to processing;
  • Port your data to another provider;
  • Opt out of marketing communications at any time by clicking "Unsubscribe" or emailing us.

To exercise any of these rights, email us at michael@firahub.com. We will respond within 30 days.

9. Children's Privacy

Firahub is a B2B platform intended for business use only. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under the age of 16. If we discover we have inadvertently received such data, we will delete it promptly.

10. Cookies & Tracking

We use first-party session cookies (required for authentication) and optional third-party analytics. You can disable non-essential cookies through your browser settings or by contacting us. Disabling essential cookies may impair your ability to use the platform.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. If changes are material, we will provide at least 30 days' notice via email or an in-dashboard notification. Continued use of the service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
